In the very popular Bakugan trading card game, the latest addition to combat is known as the Bakugan traps. They are effectively an attack booster or attribute changer. Trap Bakugans feature a number of different sizes and shapes, but they are definitely not round like the traditional Bakugan. In the game play, when they open up on a gate card, they reveal a particular attribute or an additional G-Power which helps to boost the power of the owner of the piece or change their Bakugan attributes. These Bakugan traps are game changers, and with some good strategy and card combos, you can have an incredibly powerful brawl!

How To Use Bakugan Traps

In paying the standard game, you would usually play with 3 gate cards and three Bakugan. However, in using the Bakugan traps, you will also include one trap in game play. It does however have to feature the same attribute as the Bakugan you plan on playing or it will not work. After laying down the Bakugan traps, they will open up to reveal what sort of special attack effect they will offer in the battle. Some times they can actually reveal more then one attribute in play and that allows you to actively choose which one you would want to use in the battle.

Once a Bakugan trap has been utilized, it gets moved to the used pile until which point that you have no more Bakugan traps left. For those who have been actively playing Bakugan for quite some time, the Bakugan traps are a welcomed item to the game play as it adds new diversity and challenges to the game.
