When it comes to playing Naruto, while having a starter pack is great for beginners, you will quickly realize that you are in need of more and better cards in order to compete. This is where the Naruto booster packs come in to play. Each one of these booster packs comes complete with 10 cards. While some of them may end up being a double for a card that came in the starter pack, many of them will be new and some of them will even be quite powerful. From the Fateful reunion series to the Battle of Destiny to Dream Legacy and more, every booster deck comes with new characters and abilities to take your shonin game one step higher.

In roughly one out of every 12 packs, a super rare Parallel Holographic card is included. However, each booster pack by itself comes complete with 6 of the common Naruto trading cards, 2 of the uncommon cards as well as 1 rare. In the special packs in which the super rare is wrapped in gold, the rare card is a super rare instead; either way though, you will always end up with at least 1 rare card in every single Naruto booster pack.
In the end though, the Naruto booster packs are a must have for anyone irregardless of whether they are choosing to collect the cards or play the game. For many fans though, the best route to go is to start by collecting as many cards as possible, and then using the doubles for the actual game play. This way they have one card which is kept in perfect condition while the other is routinely played in matches.
The Naruto trading cards are released in sets which are called series. Each and every single series comes complete with its very own starter deck and unlimited possibilities for Naruto booster packs of the same series. However, seeing as though the cards were released in Japan initially, 3 years prior to the North American continent, only half of the cards will be found locally, whereas the remainder of the some 417 unique cards in all will have to be sought from over seas.
