In the game world and on the cartoon, we meet Lucas Nelson, a science wizard who has discovered creatures living inside his computer. He and his team of Lab Rats collect these little creatures and battle them. These creatures live in an entirely new nanoscopic world of their own. In this world in which the wild nanovors live, each group of nanovors are out to fight, and they are determined to fight until they control the circuit board.
The game itself, which is aimed at pre-teens as well as teenagers, is fairly simple to understand. The user collects the nanovors living inside your computer in order to put them in a swarm. In other words, you pick the nanovors that you would like in your team (swarm) and then challenge other players to battles. The game requires a certain amount of strategy on the part of the user. In order to win these battles, the user much choose the right attacks to be the most effective against the enemy swarm of nanovors. There three main factions of Nanovors: Hexite, Magnamods, and Velocitrons Recent discoveries have led to more varieties being discovered, and the digital Nanoverse is truly vast so who knows what is all out there!
There are plenty of features in the game to keep the interests of the players. For example, over an amount of time, you can evolve the nanovors to make them more powerful. The more the user plays, the more badges, EMs, and accomplishments he or she earn, again making your nanovors more powerful for battle. If you are lucky you can even evolve your Nanovor to the v. 2.0 or higher! Also players can use Nanocash to buy new swarms, new powerups, evolutions, and lots of amazing things. Nanocash can be purchased on Amazon, at Best Buy, or a variety of other stores. Nanocash cards come in $10 and $20 increments.
Now you can play the game by yourself and offline with the Nanovor Nanoscope! Download your Nanovors, battle famous battle masters and play mini games to increase their power. When you get home, just upload your monsters back into your computer with their new powerups and rule the online battlefield! The Nanovor Nanoscope has a color screen, sound effects, and is a very advanced Nanovor training device. You can score these Nanoscopes for $40-$50 online.
It is important for parents to note that when one nanovor wins over another nanovor, the effects are a little gross. The creature kind of explodes exposing a gooey inside. However they don't really die, they instantly regenerate and are ready for another battle without a single scratch! Other than that there doesn’t seem to be anything questionable with the game. At its core, it is a strategy game that can be very captivating for all age groups.
